I am 50+ and fit. I’m also overweight (again). Last year, I began having symptoms of low thyroid. I started slowly gaining weight. My weight has crept up by 10 kilos. And it’s (almost) all around my middle. And now my fasting blood sugar is elevated.
I am not willing to simply watch this happen. I don’t have another body waiting for me if this one wears out. I am strong and smart. I am determined to drop the weight I’ve gained. Please join me in taking smart, effective actions every day.
My plan is to eat according to Dr Bernstein’s low carb diabetes diet. I’ve renamed it the anti-diabetes diet. This will help me cut the cravings for sugar and regain full health.
